Mission for the Mission
Bayleys are on a Mission to help the Christchurch City Mission. We are one of many canterbury charitable organisations on a mission to improve quality of life for those who need it. Organising and supporting charity fundraising & fundraising events across the canterbury region. People are at the heart of Bayleys Canterbury’s philanthropic commitment, supporting charities, cultural and sporting groups across the region, so when we heard about the Christchurch City Mission delivering programmes and services to those in need, we jumped on board.
We are firm believers that things are better with friends so we invited long-time collaborator and Christchurch Chef Richard Hingston to the table to craft a sensational Pear and Brown Sugar Tart recipe as the centrepiece of a fundraising campaign for the Christchurch City Mission, and now we are asking you to help, create a place where everyone is in a position to stay strong and know their worth.
When you purchase any gift from our Bayleys on a Mission range, you’ll help the City Mission deliver programmes and services to those in need, and we hope Richard’s signature recipe helps sweeten the deal.

Bayleys Country sells more farmland than any other agency in New Zealand. So, when we saw farmers under stress, we knew we needed to step up and give back.
