CHRISTMAS IN CANTERBURY
We’re fortunate to work alongside Bayleys Canterbury, who dedicate their partnership with us to delivering a variety of community-based initiatives throughout the region.

We believe it’s more important than ever for the people of Ōtautahi and Canterbury to come together and enjoy kindness, happiness and joy at Christmas.
Following the cancellation of the Christchurch Christmas Parade, along with the annual Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park, a genuine sense of loss was felt by the people of Canterbury – even earthquakes hadn’t stopped these traditional family events.
To fill this void, we delivered to the people of Canterbury in partnership with the Christchurch City Mission, our very own Christmas in Ōtautahi. With the focal point being the lighting of the Christmas tree decorated with 50,000 lights reflecting the many lives touched by the Christchurch City Mission annually.
50,000 lights and 100,000 smiling faces, new traditions for all.
"The Bayleys team have become an integral partner with the City Mission, providing innovative and engaging opportunities for, not only their own team, but many across our wider community to connect and support our works in caring for our most vulnerable. We are incredibly grateful for the privilege of our authentic and purpose-led partnership.
